Joyce Sims (August 6, 1959 – October 15, 2022) was an American singer and lyricist, whose greatest hit single, “Come into My Life”, arrived at the main 10 in both the US Board R&B Graph and the UK Singles Outline in 1987/8.

Joyce Sims Career
In 1986, Joyce Sims endorsed with the now-defunct record label Sleeping Bag Records. Her previously hit single was “(You Are My) All and All” in 1986, which was delivered by Kurtis Mantronik and came to No. 16 on the UK Singles Chart. It made its way to the US Dance Chart at #51; peaking at No. 6.
Sims followed up in 1988 with “Come into My Life” additionally delivered by Kurtis Mantronik which peaked at No. 10 on the US Billboard R&B Chart and No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart. This turned into her greatest achievement, despite the fact that it was her only top-10 single on the R&B chart. Both “All and All” and her change of “Love Makes a Lady” with Jimmy Castor were likewise chart entries.
Sims’ introduction collection, Come into My Life, came to No. 22 in the US R&B collection chart and No. 5 in the UK Collections Chart following the Main 10 progress of the title track in the UK Singles Chart. That very year, she formed a record label, August Rose Records, and began work on a new collection.
In 2014, Sims delivered the collection Love Song, which includes a duet with reggae singer Maxi Minister.
