Two Polaroid pictures signed by Tupac Shakur, taken during his 1995 prison sentence and gifted to a fellow inmate, have now landed at auction house Nate D. Sanders.
According to the press release, bidding for both photos will begin at $3,000. It’s unclear how much they’re estimated to go for,
Taken the day after Tupac’s prison wedding on April 30, 1995, one of the pictures arrives with a handwritten message from the rapper: “2 Carmela & Anthony our inspiration to be patient & loving. UR great friends we wish u much success & happiness as we take each day with the next. 2PAC.”
This isn’t the first time Tupac’s prison memorabilia goes up for auction. Earlier this year, Tupac’s NSFW illustrations, drawn during his sentence, were sold at an auction for over $20,000.
