Msamiati, a renowned Singeli artist and musician originating from East Africa, particularly Tanzania, has recently dropped an outstanding new hip-hop and rap tune named “Bibi Titi.”
Bibi Titi Mohammed (June 1926 – November 5, 2000) was a Tanzanian politician and advocate. Born in June 1926 in Dar es Salaam, which was then the capital of the former Tanganyika, she emerged as a prominent figure in the struggle for freedom. Initially recognized as a freedom fighter, she ardently backed Julius Nyerere, the inaugural president of Tanzania. Mohammed held membership in the Tanganyika African National Union (TANU), a pivotal party dedicated to securing Tanzania’s independence.
