Simmz is best known for his illustrator skills in the Cape Town hip-hop sphere. He is responsible for various artwork covers and logos including those of OneMovement (a collective he’s part of), Nun Stop Fam, Qhawe and Blaq Umnt’Omnyama’s. He has now, with the help of Red Bull Studios, decided to paint his reality in the form of rhymes.
Simmz’s music is relatable and inspirational. His 6-track Rhymes & Reality EP takes us through his pains as an individual and his struggle with trusting friends. He teaches us about uniting as Africans, and shares his love for hip-hop
