Pietermaritzburg born rapper Champ who is now plying his trade (and studies) in Durban collaborated with ByLwansta on the lyrically dense release Gotta Be Kiddin.
The song which Champ also produced sees the two rappers going toe to toe where they trade bars like “always coming second like a sophomore” and “I am about to turn everyone that slept on me into an insomniac”.
The two rappers have collaborated before on each other projects with Lwansta directing a video for Champ while Champ mastered Lwansta’s last EP.
The two have also come together on a new event title Plus50 Music.
Another collaborative effort we’ve recently started on is the hosting an event/showcase of/on our own called Plus50 Music. It’s an intimate invite-only gig where we select 50 of our followers who follow the @Plus50Music account to be invited to the event in Durban.
