The Maliwan dup of Toast and KeiM just collaborated on the 5 track EP Y.O.D.A (You Only Die Alone) . This was my first introduction to the artists and I had mixed feelings when listening to the EP. Their lyrics and delivery could do with some improvement but the beat selection on this project is sublime. It represents the perfect nexus between Hip Hop and Pop , particularly the last three songs. The stand out songs for me where Roses Are Red (I am sucker for 80s pop keyboard samples) and Tik Tok.
